Take a seat at Leopard Leap’s South African Table

FANS of the Leopard’s Leap South African Table will be delighted to hear that this acclaimed culinary experience focusing on authentic South African flavours, is reopening to a new season of food and wine enjoyment.

Guests are invited to take a seat at the generous table in the vibey Leopard’s Leap kitchen for an introduction to how the melting pot that is South African culture has influenced our food traditions and styles of cooking.

With a fresh interpretation by newly appointed executive chef Stephan Moolman, and hosted by head chef William Carolissen, the South African Table brings together foodies and friends for a relaxed lunch of typical South African dishes, beautifully complemented by wines from Leopard’s Leap’s premium Culinaria Collection.

Enjoy the diversity of South African cuisine and the beauty of our local wines, enhanced by food stories, and Friday lunch will never be the same again.

A highlight on any Franschhoek itinerary, the South African Table begins with a heritage-inspired braai table in September. Monthly themes promise to cover our rich culinary heritage through collaborations with visiting chefs, seasonal ingredients and origin-specific charm – from Weskus favourites to Karoo traditions, exotic elements from our rich food ancestry, recipes inspired by historic journeys and the nostalgic stories that accompany them.
